The Harvard Crimson and Princeton Tigers are part of an intense social, academic, and athletic rivalry. Harvard and Princeton first played football against each other on April 28, 1877, a game which Harvard won by a score of 1-0. As of 2018, Princeton leads the series with Harvard, with 56 wins, 48 losses, and 7 ties, while Harvard owns the longest win streak of 9 games between 1996 and 2004.
