'26 Harvard Football Ticket Coasters by COOLSTUB™
BEST STOCKING STUFFER GIFTS OF 2018!
Set of four premium vintage football ticket drink coasters designed from an authentic and rare 1926 Harvard vs. Princeton college football ticket in our collection of historic football ticket stubs. Great gift for any Harvard, Princeton, or Ivy League football fan, and for any aficionado of college football history.
The 1926 contest was won by Princeton 12-0. After the game Harvard and Princeton refused to play each other for a period of 8 years until 1934, due, in part, to a spoof of the Princeton coach by the Harvard Lampoon.
The Harvard Crimson and Princeton Tigers are part of an intense social, academic, and athletic rivalry. Harvard and Princeton first played football against each other on April 28, 1877, a game which Harvard won by a score of 1-0. As of 2018, Princeton leads the series with Harvard, with 56 wins, 48 losses, and 7 ties, while Harvard owns the longest win streak of 9 games between 1996 and 2004.
Robust and longer-lasting than ordinary coasters, COOLSTUB™ square wooden ticket drink coasters come with rounded corners and an extra coating for added durability. Printed on quarter inch birch wood with sustainable water-based inks, our wooden drink coasters feature a mounted cork bottom to protect against scratches on delicate table surfaces. No white is printed which allows the natural wood grain to show through the ticket image. Each coaster will vary in wood grain patterns, meaning no two coasters will ever look completely the same. Our coasters are water & heat resistant. Easy to clean, simply use a wet rag to wipe them off.
