1941 Michigan State Spartans Birch Wood Coasters by COOLSTUB™
BEST 2018 STOCKING STUFFER IDEAS!
Set of four premium vintage Michigan State Spartan drink coasters. The coasters are designed from an authentic 1941 Michigan State homecoming ticket in our collection of historic college football tickets. The great artwork on the ticket makes this coaster set a unique Spartan collectible.
The University of Missouri won the game 17-0. Both the Michigan State Spartans and Missouri Tigers had good football teams in 1941. The Spartans compiled a 5-3-1 record under head Charlie Bachman and lost only to Michigan, Santa Clara, and Missouri.
Under head coach, Don Faurot, the Tigers compiled a record of 8-2 and were # 7 in the final AP Poll. The Tigers lost only to Ohio State 12-7, and to Fordham in the Orange Bowl 2-0. Along the way to their Big 6 Championship, the Tigers also shut out Kansas State, Nebraska, New York University, and the Oklahoma Sooners.
Robust and longer-lasting than ordinary coasters, COOLSTUB™ square wooden ticket drink coasters come with rounded corners and an extra coating for added durability. Printed on quarter inch birch wood with sustainable water-based inks, our wooden drink coasters feature a mounted cork bottom to protect against scratches on delicate table surfaces. No white is printed which allows the natural wood grain to show through the ticket image. Each coaster will vary in wood grain patterns, meaning no two coasters will ever look completely the same. Our coasters are water & heat resistant. Easy to clean, simply use a wet rag to wipe them off.
